    1.) Bastest
Bastet was usually seen as a gentle protective goddess. However, she sometimes appeared with the head of a lioness to protect the king in battle.
Bastet was one of the daughters of the sun god, Ra. A great temple was built in her honour at Bubastis in the Delta.

    2.)Animagi
Wizards who transform into animals. There have been 100 in this century. Only seven registered. Four
non-registered. The four are: Rita Skita, Sirius Black, James Potter and Peter Perrygrew.

    3.)Bludges
Two black balls that strike players. Ok enough with Potter.

    4.)Pluto
I married early, and was happy to find in my wife a disposition not uncongenial with my own. Observing my partiality for domestic pets, she lost no opportunity of procuring those of the most agreeable kind. We had birds, gold fish, a fine dog, rabbits, a small monkey, and a cat.
This latter was a remarkably large and beautiful animal, entirely black, and sagacious to an astonishing degree. In speaking of his intelligence, my wife, who at heart was not a little tinctured with superstition, made frequent allusion to the ancient popular notion, which regarded all black cats as witches in disguise. Not that she was ever serious upon this point --and I mention the matter at all for no better reason than that it happens, just now, to be remembered.
Pluto --this was the cat's name --was my favorite pet and playmate. I alone fed him, and he attended me wherever I went about the house. It was even with difficulty that I could prevent him from following me through the streets. An excerpt from EA Poe's short story, The Black Cat.

    5.)Smilodon
The best known of the cats of pre-history, is the saber toothed tiger (Smilodon). These large, fearsome, members of the cat family roamed, and hunted, much of the ancient world before finally hunting their prey, and therefore themselves, to extinction. Nothing to do with black cats but cool and powerful.

    6.)Miacis
Cat history, it is generally believed, can be traced back to the Miacis, a weasel like creature that inhabited the earth some 40 or so million years ago.

    7.) Carbonel
A book Carbonel, King of the Cats, by Barbara Sleigh

    8.)Asparagus, or Gus
Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats, T.S. Eliot / Cats, Andrew Lloyd Weber

    9.) Simpson
Our black cat's name before she died at the ripe age of 18 with diabetes.
